Overview
A legal content editor role is available for a licensed attorney with 3–5 years of experience in editing and writing legal content for marketing agencies and/or law firms. This position involves translating complex legal concepts into clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content while maintaining high quality at scale. The role requires a high degree of independence, accountability, and the ability to contribute positively to the team culture.
Responsibilities
- Edit and write legal content tailored for marketing purposes
- Translate complex legal concepts into accessible and persuasive copy
- Optimize content for SEO and conversion
- Manage large volumes of content, including use of AI-assisted writing tools
- Participate in client-facing interactions as needed, representing the organization professionally
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree; current bar admission or active practice not required
- 3–5 years of experience editing and writing legal content for marketing companies and/or law firms
- Must reside in the United States or be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
- Experience with AI-assisted writing tools and handling large content volumes
- Proven ability to write persuasive, conversion-driven copy
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with proactive problem-solving skills
- Willingness and confidence to engage in client-facing communications when necessary
- Proficiency with word processing software
