Overview
Certified Process Server opportunities are available in Harnett, Johnston, and Lee Counties, North Carolina.
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) role. Work is performed in Harnett, Johnston, and Lee Counties, North Carolina, with support provided by a SC-based liaison.
Responsibilities
- Deliver legal documents and update service information through mobile apps.
- Plan routes for efficiency.
- Make service attempts, aiming for three service attempts, including different times of day and weekends.
- Attempt cases at least every 72 hours.
- Maintain honesty and accuracy in completed documentation.
Requirements
- Must be in or live near Harnett, Johnston, Lee Counties - North Carolina.
- Dependable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Willingness to work variable hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Familiarity with mobile apps (service updates are completed through a proprietary app).
- Access to a computer, printer, and scanner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private investigation, law enforcement, or process serving.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay per completed job, regardless of outcome (served or not).
- Flexible schedule.
