The organization operates in education consulting, partnering with higher education institutions and academic medical centers. This role supports the organization’s mission by ensuring effective management of research agreements to facilitate compliance and organizational effectiveness.

The SR RESEARCH CONTRACT SPECIALIST role involves negotiating and preparing clinical research study contracts, helping ensure successful clinical research initiatives and alignment of resources for long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and prepare clinical research study contracts, including:
    • Confidentiality Agreements
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements
    • Clinical Trial Agreements
    • Nonconforming Subcontracts
    • Master Service Agreements
    • Material Transfer Agreements
    • Data Transfer Agreements

Requirements

  • U.S. work authorization required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in research administration or legal-related contract experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced contract management skills, particularly with Clinical Trial Agreements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical skills for contract analysis.
  • Relationship management experience.
  • Process improvement experience and resilience in changing environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance and federal regulations related to clinical research.
  • Administrative experience in research settings.
  • Leadership and training capabilities.
  • Project management and efficiency.
  • Engagement with industry best practices and innovation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base salary range: $95,000 - $130,000.
  • Total estimated compensation (including annual incentive): $106,400 - $153,400.
  • Benefits eligibility includes participation in organization benefit plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
